Job Description:

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic procurement plans to reduce costs, improve quality, and drive innovation. This includes collaborating with internal teams to align packaging solutions with business needs, evaluating supplier risks, and building strong, strategic partnerships to drive performance and innovation.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute packaging strategies to reduce costs, improve quality, and drive innovation.
2. Work closely with internal teams to align packaging solutions with business needs.
3. Evaluate supplier risks, implement continuous improvement, and ensure reliable supply.
4. Build strong, strategic partnerships to drive performance and innovation.
5. Align sourcing with sustainability goals, exploring eco-friendly packaging solutions.
6. Stay ahead of trends and market innovations to fuel category growth.
7. Oversight of supplier agreements and maintenance of strong, compliant relationships.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in senior procurement, with 2+ years in packaging (preferably in the food industry).
• Degree in a relevant field.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and business acumen.
• Willingness to travel across Europe as needed.
• Experience with sourcing packaging for 2+ years (a bonus if it's meat packaging).
