About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Level 3 Healthcare Expert to join our team in assessing candidate performance in Diagnostic imaging support L3. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring overall standards are maintained, following published assessment and grading criteria and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Participating in regular training and standardisation activities to maintain expertise.
  • Providing evidence of ongoing CPD to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
  • Assessing candidates in accordance with established assessment criteria and procedures.
  • Collaborating with the Pearson team to develop and implement assessment materials and quality assurance protocols.
  • Maintaining service-level agreements to ensure timely completion of EPA plans, reports, and submissions.
  • Identifying and reporting risks and issues encountered during end-point assessments.
  • Ensuring high-quality EPA reports and assessment evidence are recorded accurately.
  • Supporting Pearson with appeals from apprentices regarding assessment decisions.
  • Contributing to external quality assurance activities undertaken by IFATE.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Recent experience in the occupation area or sector to at least occupational level 3, gained in the last 5 years or significant experience of the occupation or sector.
  • Compliance with quality assurance/regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in Digital Imaging within an NHS environment.
  • Ability to assess and report risks.
