Outwood Academy Kirkby is seeking a visionary leader to head our thriving Creative Arts Department. As the Head of Creative Arts, you will be responsible for driving innovation and excellence in arts education, inspiring students to reach their full potential.

With a strong music specialism, you will lead a team of dedicated staff to deliver a high-quality arts education, fostering a love of the arts in students. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the department's strategic direction, ensuring it remains innovative, creative, and ambitious.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing department staff to promote excellence in teaching and learning
  • Developing and implementing a curriculum that inspires students and prepares them for success
  • Collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team to drive the academy's vision and goals
