Accommodation Porter Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Accommodation Porter to join our team at Medirest, the specialist healthcare operating company of Compass Group UK & Ireland. This part-time role is contracted for 20 hours per week.

About the Role:

• Assist in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and customer care throughout the hospital.
• Support housekeeping, restaurant, and banqueting staff with tasks such as setting up rooms or moving furniture.
• Handle reception duties like booking theatre tickets or making restaurant reservations.
• Respond to customer requests when necessary.
• Run errands as required.
• Ensure customer safety by placing and removing signage indicating wet floors or paints.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Must be adaptable and able to handle changing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Previous experience delivering high-quality customer care.
• Initiative-taking and decision-making abilities that prioritize customer needs.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Exceptional timekeeping and reliability.
• A clean UK Driving License is mandatory.
