Page Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Management Accountant to join a dynamic services business in Harrogate.
About the Role
As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and analysing financial reports, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing financial insights to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, including balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, and journal postings.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
- Support the management accounts team with varied duties, including variance analysis and financial statement preparation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management and finance teams.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualified AAT or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or relevant accounting experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot tables.
