Loughborough College is seeking an Independent College Governor to join its Corporation Board.
The role of the Corporation is to agree and oversee the strategic direction of the College, driving forward its mission to transform and enrich lives through lifelong learning. As a Governor, you will help shape the College to ensure its technical and academic curriculum are at the leading edge, and that it has the resources to deliver its ambition.
We are looking for a candidate with current experience in a senior role with a leading regional, national, or multinational employer, or in a similar role with a major employer representative body. You must be committed to the College's vision and have the ability to work in a team to make collective decisions.
Previous experience as a governor or trustee, or in working at a senior level in a related field, would be an advantage. Volunteering as a Governor is a great way to contribute to your local community, meet new people, and improve the lives of the local community.
The Board is keen to promote diversity of its membership across all protected characteristics. At Loughborough College, we offer a diverse range of courses from Foundation to Degree level, and our 9,000 students receive an exceptional learning experience in a high-quality and expanding campus.
