We are collaborating with a vibrant Primary School in the Richmond upon Thames area seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and excellent communication skills, enabling them to effectively support teachers and students alike.
About the Role
This long-term to permanent opportunity is perfect for someone looking to take their teaching assistant career to the next level. As an HLTA, you will be responsible for providing academic and pastoral support to pupils, assisting teachers in the classroom, and contributing to the overall success of the school.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting teachers in the classroom to deliver high-quality lessons and ensure student progress
- Providing one-to-one support to pupils who require additional help or attention

- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong educational background, preferably with a relevant teaching qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents
- Experience working in a similar setting, preferably as an HLTA
- A keen understanding of child development and learning theories
