Software Architect Opportunity at Cathcart Technology

Cathcart Technology is seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join their team in Cumbernauld. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the product development lifecycle and driving the design, development, and delivery of software products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software architecture and design across Microsoft technologies and Azure cloud. Experience with database knowledge in SQL Server and API design and development is highly desirable.

You will work closely with the leadership team and other high-calibre engineers to re-architect a new software solution from scratch, leveraging Microsoft Azure and modernising the existing system. This is an exciting opportunity to help build and develop a product that could revolutionise the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software architectures for cloud-based solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, roadmap, and features
  • Prioritise tasks based on business value and user feedback
  • Work closely with the leadership team and other engineers to drive product development

Requirements:

  • Strong background in software architecture and design
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies and Azure cloud
  • Database knowledge in SQL Server
  • API design and development skills
