Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled MATERIALS ENGINEER to join our team in the UK.

As a Materials Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical input into project costing and assisting the project team in materials value engineering (VE) and identifying robust solutions.

You will also be responsible for providing expert technical guidance in materials engineering design, assurance, and management. This includes developing and maintaining relationships with relevant materials engineering laboratories, managing laboratory materials testing and data management, and approving materials and data management of Material Approval Records.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge specifications and re-engineer proposals to develop alternative value-engineered proposals.

The salary for this position is approximately £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
