Job Title: Part-time Social Service Practitioner

Slough Children First is seeking a motivated and empathetic part-time social service practitioner to join our team on a job share basis (2 or 2.5 days per week).

As a social service practitioner, you will work closely with children, young people, and families to identify and address their needs, while also providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing, planning, and implementing suitable interventions for complex cases.
  • Producing concise assessments, plans, and reports.
  • Developing effective relationships with children, young people, and families/carers.
  • Participating in partnership work with colleagues and other agencies to deliver accessible services.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered social worker with a professional qualification or equivalent, and have demonstrable experience of working within a busy service.

Estimated Salary: £19,339 - £22,021 per annum (based on 20 hours per week)
