About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Night Trunk HGV Driver to join our team at Birtwistles Food Group. As a key member of our dispatch and transport team, you will be responsible for driving a modern vehicle and delivering goods to our satellite depot in Milton Keynes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the completion of loading and ensure that all goods are properly secured for transportation.
  • Deliver goods to the satellite depot in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Promptly report any vehicle issues or concerns to the transport team.
  • Ensure full compliance with transport legislation and regulations.

We are looking for a driver with excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. If you have experience in the logistics industry and are looking for a new challenge, we would welcome your application.

Working Hours

Rotating Shift Pattern:

Our Night Trunk HGV Driver will work a rotating shift pattern, which includes Sunday night to Friday night. The specific schedule will be as follows:

  • Week 1: 6 nights
  • Week 2: Monday to Friday night
  • Shift hours: 23:00 - 09:00
