At Meredith Brown Associates, we are seeking a highly skilled Trade Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate implementation of client investments across all asset classes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and send execution instructions to ensure client investments are implemented in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Evaluate and input client trade confirm information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Proactively monitor trade settlements to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external third-party custodians and brokers to ensure best execution and service levels.
  • Process cash payments for clients and capital call payments for private placement funds.
  • Collaborate with the Transformation Office on operational-related strategic and tactical projects to assess internal controls and recommend improvements.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree and numerically minded.
  • Demonstrable experience working within investment or trade operations, ideally from within an Asset or Wealth Manager.
  • High level of attention to detail and comfort working with numbers.
  • Ability to prioritize daily workloads and work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
  • Experience using Bloomberg AIM or other OMS.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced investment environment.
  • Articulate self-starter with strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers and senior members of the team.
  • High degree of integrity and professionalism, with a collaborative approach.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook.
