Job Overview

A Financial Planning role is available with a well-established financial advisory firm in Oxfordshire. As a dedicated Paraplanner, you will conduct comprehensive financial research and support Financial Planners in client meetings.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Developing tailored planning recommendations and overseeing their implementation through thorough financial analysis and research.
  • Reviewing and managing client portfolios to ensure alignment with benchmarks, rebalancing as needed, and maintaining portfolio health over time.
  • Fostering client relationships and serving as the primary contact for any queries in client meetings alongside Financial Planners.
  • Producing detailed cash flow projections and scenarios using financial planning tools, assessing client information to inform recommendations.
  • Coordinating with product providers and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and smooth process execution.

Candidate Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar financial planning role is required.
  • A Diploma in Financial Planning (Dip PFS) is highly preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge across financial planning areas: investment management, pensions, tax, protection, and estate planning.
  • An exceptional relationship builder with a client-focused approach and excellent attention to detail is essential.
  • Proficiency in cash flow modelling, preferably with Voyant, and experience in handling complex financial planning for high-net-worth clients are key skills.
