We are currently recruiting for a Technical Architect with expertise in Java, good Scrum knowledge, and with enhanced Developed Vetting. Our company, PS Computer Services Ltd t/a Parker Shaw, offers a 100% on-site role in Cheltenham.

Role Overview

This position is responsible for leading the development team to deliver high-quality software solutions using Java technology stack. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, excellent communication skills, and experience working in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage technical expertise to drive the development of complex software systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Mentor junior engineers to improve their technical skills and contribute to the growth of the team.
  • Implement efficient testing strategies to ensure the quality of delivered products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development using Java.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and version control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
