We are seeking a dedicated and qualified English Teacher to join our team at Empowering Learning. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons to secondary school students, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK and have a passion for teaching English to pupils up to KS4. They will also possess excellent communication skills, be able to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, and work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the overall development of the English department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching: Delivering engaging and effective English lessons to secondary school students, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
- Planning and Preparation: Developing well-structured and creative lesson plans, tailored to the needs of the students and aligned with the curriculum.
- Classroom Management: Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment, effectively managing student behavior and fostering a love for English.
- Assessment: Implementing effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
