About the Role

This is a 1-year post that offers a unique opportunity to gain experience working across a large portfolio at a higher level of leadership within visitor experience. As a Visitor Operations and Experience Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of inclusive, creative, and exciting experiences that inspire and grow support for the Trust's cause.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a great team of staff, volunteers, and work collaboratively with consultants, specialists, and creative partners to deliver high-quality experiences.
• Develop and deliver programs of events and exhibitions supported by effective marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with the portfolio leadership team to ensure the delivery of inclusive, creative, and exciting experiences across the Herefordshire portfolio.
• Work closely with the team to develop and implement strategies to improve accessibility across all places.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with an in-depth understanding of visitor operations and high-quality engagement. You should have the ability to engage with our partners and collaborators with ease and confidence, as well as a proven ability to lead an operation, including rotas, budgets, and planning across a complex site. A collaborative leadership style, taking time to support your team and everyone across the portfolio, is essential.
