About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Geologist to join our team of specialists in the South East of England. As an Engineering Geologist, you will be responsible for carrying out site investigations, groundwater and gas monitoring, contaminated land risk assessments, and Phase 1 Desktop Studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out site investigations, including borehole logging, groundwater and gas monitoring, and soil sampling.
  • Conduct contaminated land risk assessments and Phase 1 Desktop Studies.
  • Write factual and interpretive reports.
  • Liaise closely with clients and train junior members of the team.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a geotechnical/geo-environmental engineer or consultant, with demonstratable ability to do borehole logging, groundwater and gas monitoring, and soil sampling.
  • Hold a degree in geology, geoscience, environmental engineering, environmental science, or earth science.
  • Hold a clean and valid UK Driving licence.
  • Live near to Winchester.
  • A full right to work in the UK is also essential.
