About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Operations Manager to join our team at Recurrent Energy. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of our HV network management services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of our HV contractors, including SSE and HVPS, to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Oversee the management of HVPM contractors and ensure compliance with industry standards and good Health and Safety practices.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to our field team and ensure that all electrical work is carried out in accordance with industry standards.
  • Manage and coordinate corrective work projects, including the management of contractors and the development of project plans.
  • Support the HV lead with AP training and authorisation, and provide training and support to new starters in the HV team.
  • Participate in internal and external training to stay up-to-date with industry standards and technology.
  • Ensure compliance with Recurrent Energy's health and safety policy and investigate complaints and recommend corrective action as necessary.
Requirements
  • 18th Edition Electrical Regulations qualification.
  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or HNC qualified.
  • Experience working on large-scale solar projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of DC Electrical systems.
  • Hardworking, reliable, and flexible.
