About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to join our team as a Live-In Care Professional in Newport. As a Live-In Care Professional, you will live in a client's home and provide non-medical support to help them maintain their independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare meals and maintain a clean and safe living environment
  • Encourage clients to engage in activities and hobbies
  • Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals

What We Offer

As a Live-In Care Professional with Home Instead, you will receive comprehensive training and support. You will be provided with a separate room to stay, access to a TV and WiFi, and 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client. We value our employees and offer a supportive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a reliable and trustworthy individual with a passion for supporting others. You will need to be comfortable working independently and as part of a team. A DBS enhanced disclosure is required for this position.
