As a key member of our Energy Futures team, you will be responsible for a portfolio of energy futures execution and clearing clients. You will have the ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team, and directly engage with clients to maintain good relationships and find new ones to bring flow.

Responsibilities:


•Dealing in Exchange Traded Energy Futures and Options, in particular, Brent, WTI, and Oil products


•Corresponding directly with clients, including banks, hedge funds, market makers, fund managers, institutionals, and trading houses


•Assisting with the onboarding of new client relationships and maintaining existing client relationships, as well as supporting processes as required by colleagues


•Working efficiently and supporting the preparation of new required frameworks


•Collaborating with central operations functions, which support the trading role, including Operations and Technology


•Strategizing to increase P&L, requiring analysis of markets and products


•Ensuring compliance with the company's regulatory requirements


•Adhering to the operational risk framework for your role, ensuring all regulatory or company-determined parameters are complied with


•Role modeling highest-level standards of integrity and conduct, reflecting Company Values


•Complying with the FCA's/regulators Code of Conduct


•Carrying out regulatory activities


•Liaising with clients in the US, UK, Europe, Singapore, Dubai, and other regions


•Ensuring familiarity with and adherence to internal policies related to your role or any other activities for which you have responsibility


•Reporting any policy breaches to Compliance and/or your supervisor as required


•Escalating risk events immediately


•Providing input to risk management processes, as required

Skills and Experience:


•Analytical skills


•Comprehensive knowledge of the Energy Futures markets


•Substantial experience working in and knowledge of ICE and CME Energy Futures


•Demonstrated ability to build sustained long-term relationships with clients
