We are working closely with a local authority to assist with the appointment of a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant on a short-term contract. This role is ideal for individuals looking for temporary work in the pharmacy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver efficient dispensary operations and minimize dispensing losses
  • Ensure accurate handling and dispensing of all medicines, including NHS and private prescriptions
  • Comply with legal and professional requirements, as well as company standard operating procedures
  • Assist in the delivery of pharmacy services where applicable
  • Provide safe and accurate advice on medicines, including over-the-counter medication as required

Requirements:

  • A NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or Dispensing Assistant qualifications completed through a GPhC accredited route
  • Experience working in a community pharmacy, preferably with experience using Pharmacy Manager software

  • Candidates should be available to start work immediately or at short notice
  • Candidates should have the right to work in the UK
  • This role requires a basic DBS check
