Primary School Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Camden

EdEx is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic Primary School in the London Borough of Camden.

This full-time and long-term role involves supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and promoting their learning and development.

About the Role
  1. Supporting children with SEN across year groups, including those with Autism, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and behavioural difficulties.
  2. Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies to support children's learning.
  3. Providing individualized support to children, tailored to their specific needs and abilities.
  4. Developing and maintaining relationships with parents and carers to ensure seamless communication and support.
  5. Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
  6. Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing resources and materials, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Qualifications
  1. A good degree from a reputable University.
  2. Relevant experience working with SEN or personal experience.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  5. Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
