Job Summary:

Pertemps Bond is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV 1 night shunter driver to join our team. As a night shunter driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving goods and materials within our warehouse and transportation network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform yard shunting duties, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials.
  • Communicate effectively with our office team to ensure correct movements and logistics.
  • Conduct trunking work, trailer swapping, and other tasks as required.
  • Meet all safety and regulatory requirements, including valid Category C+E entitlement, 6 months experience driving C+E vehicles, and valid Tacho and DQC cards.
  • Provide excellent customer service and work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals.

Requirements:

  • Category C+E entitlement (held for minimum 2 years)
  • 6 Months experience driving C+E vehicle
  • Valid Tacho and DQC cards
  • Clean license (desirable)
  • Friendly, professional, and dedicated to great customer service
  • An outstanding work ethic and the ability to work at a fast pace

Benefits:

  • Competitive pay rates, including:
  • Days: £16.87ph
  • Nights: £17.90ph
  • Saturday: £19.60ph
  • Sunday: £20.63ph
  • Days OT: £25.31ph (After 8 hours worked)
  • Nights OT: £26.85ph (After 8 hours worked)

Working Hours:

Shift time: 20:00 - 04:45 Monday to Friday
