Financial Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Strategist to join our team at Optimum Recruitment Group Limited. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing a strong financial counterpoint in all site-based decisions, both strategic and operational.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with post-qualification experience and solid finance business partnering skills. You will need to be an ambitious and career-driven finance professional who is a passionate business partner, able to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all times.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Providing a strong financial counterpoint in all site-based decisions, both strategic and operational.
• Business partnering, being the connection between the finance team and the operational business, raising risks early and communicating the story of what is happening on-site.
• Ensuring complete and accurate profit and cashflow forecasting for projects, working with various departments, challenging assumptions and reporting to business stakeholders.
• Producing clear, accurate, monthly and weekly reports on project progress.
• Influencing a range of stakeholders, across levels of seniority and departments, building relationships and responding at speed to queries.
