We are seeking a skilled Electronics Production Specialist to join our Production Engineering Team at QinetiQ Target Systems. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in the aerospace industry, specifically within Aerial Target / UAS platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Research and Development teams to ensure products are designed for efficient manufacturing
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes and create technical documentation
  • Design and develop test fixtures and tools to improve production efficiency
  • Identify opportunities for product quality improvement and cost reduction
  • Manage new product introductions and product changes
  • Provide technical support for quality investigations and production challenges

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in electronic/production engineering
  • Experience in radiofrequency testing and electronics design
  • Strong communication and IT skills
  • Knowledge of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) issues and solutions
  • Ability to read technical drawings and component data sheets
  • Experience with 3D parametric CAD software
