Job Description
This role involves operating HGV Class 2 vehicles equipped with hooklifts, collecting household waste from five recycling centers across Gloucestershire. As a successful candidate, you will work a 37-hour basic shift pattern split into four on-four off rotations. Your primary responsibilities will include navigating the county's road network efficiently, maintaining accurate records of your activities, and adhering to relevant health and safety guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this challenging yet rewarding role, applicants must possess a minimum of two years' experience holding a valid Cat. C driving license, along with prior knowledge of hooklift operations. A current Tacho card and CPC certification are also mandatory. We are seeking individuals with strong driving skills, good situational awareness, and a keen understanding of UK traffic laws.
