Moonbug Entertainment Ltd. is a leading global entertainment company behind some of the world's most popular kids' titles. Our portfolio includes global sensations such as CoCoMelon, Blippi, and Little Baby Bum, among others.

Our shows are currently available in 32 languages and feature on over 150 platforms globally, including YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and more. We have a strong presence in the EMEA region and are looking for a talented individual to lead our VOD distribution efforts.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced senior executive to fill the position of Head of VOD Distribution on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Kids Entertainment industry and a proven track record of driving revenue growth through creative deals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our distribution team and managing our department's budgeted revenue. They will also be responsible for negotiating multi-territory distribution agreements across EMEA and handling sales to linear and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Define and communicate a commercial strategy to grow our EMEA distribution business.
  2. Deliver annual EMEA VOD Distribution and Originals budgeted revenue.
  3. Exploit new target markets and create new ways to package our content.
  4. Work closely with our Creative Department on Originals.
  5. Adhere to all policies and procedures and ensure all documentation and controls are in place.
Desired Experience
  1. Demonstrates the ability to drive revenue through creative deals.
  2. Working knowledge of the television and digital businesses in territories.
  3. Able to build creative alliances externally and internally.
  4. Talented at developing relationships and building trust – leading to results.
Knowledge
  1. Of content, brand, IP.
  2. Knows the people in the industry and is known – raising our brand and profile.
  3. Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus.
