Role Overview

As a Collections and Delivery Driver for Angard Staffing, you will be responsible for driving a long wheel-based van, delivering parcels on a dedicated route, quickly and efficiently, whilst maintaining our high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service. This role is perfect for individuals who really enjoy a physically active work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient parcel delivery.
  • Conduct safety checks on your vehicle to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Lift and carry items up to 30kg, equivalent to 32 bags of sugar, as part of your daily duties.
  • Collect and deliver parcels to households and businesses, providing excellent customer service along the way.
  • Go the extra mile for our customers by delivering a wide range of parcels, from birthday presents to vital business information.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence with no more than six points.
  • Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for our customers.
  • Upbeat and self-motivated attitude to meet the demands of the role.
  • Good level of fitness to handle the physical demands of the job.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage your delivery route and vehicle.
  • Resilience and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.

Additional Information

Pay rates start from £14.04 per hour, with uplifts in pay applied to London locations, overtime, and bank holidays.
