Electrical Estimator Job Overview

At Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD, we are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely production of detailed pricing of Multi Utility quotes up to 33kV from client scope/Specification or DNO Point of Connection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compilation of accurate estimates from first principal methods for multi discipline works, including labour, plant, equipment, materials and sub-contract requirements during tendering and bidding.
  • Preparation of tenders and quotations from specifications and drawings within defined time periods.
  • Preparation of Tenders and Quotations from DNO Point of Connection offers within defined time periods.

Requirements:

  • Detailed understanding of DNO/IDNO/ICP's.
  • Experienced Engineer with a proven history in providing technical solutions and costing for an electrical and civil engineering environment up to 33kV on Private and/or Regulated DNO/IDNO Networks.
  • Based within a commutable distance of Ellesmere Port.
  • Full UK driving licence would be preferable.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary depending on experience (ideal bracket between £35,000 to £55,000).
  • Full time position - Monday to Friday. Hybrid working can be discussed within the working hours / pattern.
  • Holiday package - 25 days plus bank holidays.
  • Company pension scheme - 5% Employee with 3% Employer.
  • Statutory sick pay.
  • Business performance bonus - (not guaranteed) - best bonus paid is 1 months' salary and minimum bonus paid to date £250.
