Job Opportunity

We are recruiting a secondary school teacher to fill a long-term supply position for a French and Spanish teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Modern Foreign Languages and be able to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 students.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Teach French and Spanish to students in Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Plan, mark, and assess student work
  • Comply with the school's behaviour policy
  • Report student progress against targets and action plans
  • Build relationships with students, parents, and staff
  • Manage the classroom with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills

The required skills and experience for this position include:

  • Specialist knowledge of Modern Foreign Languages
  • Fluency in French and Spanish
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in MFL
  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively
  • Contact references from previous employment
  • Previous experience teaching French and Spanish
