Baby and Pre-School Swimming Instructor

GLL is seeking a qualified Baby & Pre-School Swimming Teacher to deliver high-quality swimming lessons at Dorking Sports Centre. This role requires the ability to create a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment for young children.
As a Baby & Pre-School Swimming Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering swimming lessons in line with the SWIMBiES programme. This will involve working in the water, singing, and communicating effectively with customers.
Key qualifications for this role include holding a STA Level 2 Award in Baby & Pre-School Swimming Teacher, Swim England Level 2 Teaching Pre-School Swimming, or STA Level 3 Diploma in Baby & Pre-School Swimming Teacher. If you hold a STA Level 2 Award or certificate qualification and have a passion for delivering Baby & Pre-School swimming lessons, we will work with you to develop your delivery experience.
As a Baby & Pre-School Swimming Teacher, you will have experience and knowledge in the following areas:
- Experience working with babies & toddlers
- Experience working with parents & guardians
- Understanding of child development in relation to baby swimming lessons
- Knowledge of songs and games suitable for baby swimming lessons
Additional responsibilities will include planning and completing any necessary administration to ensure a positive customer experience.
