As a Warehouse Operative, you will be working at the heart of Majestic Wine's distribution team, ensuring accurate and timely supply of stock to colleagues across the retail and online environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Effective communication and collaboration with the Warehouse Distribution Team.
  • Accurate picking of stock using the existing Warehouse Management System (WMS) via voice control.
  • Preparing and packing items for dispatch, adhering to instructions and deadlines.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment, adhering to company Health and Safety procedures.
  • Proper use of equipment, following Company procedures and safety rules.
  • Ensuring all housekeeping requirements are met.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Manual handling capabilities to meet the physical demands of the job.
  • Flexibility to work 5 out of 7 shifts, including weekends, when required.
  • A strong work ethic and team player attitude.
  • Good organizational skills and a methodical approach to work.
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and a positive, can-do attitude.

Job Specifics

This is a FTC contract with the following details:

  • Location: Hemel Gateway, A, Boundary Way, Hemel Hempstead Industrial Estate, Hemel Hempstead HP27 7GY.
  • Hours: You will work a rotating shift pattern, Monday to Friday, 06:00am - 14:00pm, with the option to rotate to 14:00pm - 22:00pm the following week.
