We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Rubber Duck Cars in Lincoln. As a Motor Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing vehicles to the highest standards.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. You will work alongside our experienced technicians to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle faults.

Responsibilities
  • To conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify defects or symptoms of impending failure.
  • To carry out repairs and maintenance tasks to the highest standard, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • To protect vehicles under repair from damage and inspect each vehicle for damage and cleanliness upon completion of repair.
  • To stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
  • To ensure all service records, customer defect reports, and manufacturer paperwork are fully completed and signed off.
Requirements
  • A minimum Level 2 City and Guilds qualification in Vehicle Repair (or equivalent).
  • Experience in diagnostics and using computers.
  • A full, UK driving license.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • A willingness to learn and develop your skills.
