CAD Technician

Plus One Recruitment is seeking a talented CAD Technician to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will have prior experience generating contract specific designs such as detailed drawings and be able to support project management teams to ensure projects run smoothly.

1. Attend contract handover meetings to observe, ask questions, and document key takeaways related to the project and design process.
2. Liaise with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
3. Produce, issue, and update project CBS documents.
4. Assess and complete operational risk assessments in conjunction with project managers.
5. Create and prepare installation documentation.
6. Provide design support to installation teams, including support out of hours, respond to questions or clarifications, raise site requests, and problem-solve in a timely manner.

• Be competent in using CAD Systems producing both 2D and 3D outputs and Tekla Structures.
• Be competent in producing detailed models, general layouts, and production drawings using Tekla Structures.
• Competent in using SolidWorks, Autodesk AEC, and MEP application suits, desirable.
