We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Science Teacher to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a reputable supplier of teachers to schools in Wales, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality candidates who can make a positive impact in the classroom.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 students, with the possibility of also teaching GCSE classes. They will need to have a strong understanding of Chemistry and be able to deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.

The role requires the ability to engage learners with both classroom and lab-based activities, as well as working in accordance with the school's behaviour management policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Engage learners with both classroom and lab-based activities
  • Work in accordance with the school's behaviour management policies
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of science teaching experience (exceptions made for NQTs)
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
  • Registration as a Teacher with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
  • References covering the last two years (no gaps)
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK

The estimated salary range for this position is £160.00 per day minimum, based on the location and industry standards.
