About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager Designate to join our team at Alsford Timber Limited. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a branch of our business, ensuring the highest standards of service and sales are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to achieve sales, budgets, and productivity targets.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and staff to exceed expectations.
  • Determine and manage a budget to ensure funds are allocated appropriately.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety and security procedures.
Requirements
  • Relevant education and/or equivalent experience in trade, builders merchant, or retail store management.
  • Experience in supervising and managing employees.
  • Ability to interpret and understand figures and act upon the interpretations.
  • Commercially minded with a focus on delivering results.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
