Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at Gi Group. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including picking and packing freight, loading and unloading lorries, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Picking and packing freight with accuracy and efficiency
  • Loading and unloading lorries in a safe and timely manner
  • Handballing and other warehouse duties as required
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Adhering to company health and safety standards

Requirements

  • Fluent English language skills
  • Ability to work all shift patterns, including days and nights
  • Previous experience as a Forklift Operator in the logistics or freight industry
  • Pass a DBS check (or provide an overseas police check if applicable)
  • Provide references from previous employers
