Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will oversee machine operations and general duties related to HVAC products and specialist ventilation system products in safety-critical facilities. Direct reporting to production supervision and working at the operational level are essential aspects of this position.

  • Manage and operate manufacturing machinery in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Interpret engineering drawings to develop product markups relevant to machine operation.
  • Construct basic HVAC products such as joint assemblies.
  • Utilise power tools to enhance production efficiency.
  • Perform painting, sealing and packaging tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to manufacturing SHEQ best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to achieve project objectives.
About You
  • Demonstrated experience in a machine operative or similar role in steel fabrication.
  • Familiarity with quality control principles.
  • Ability to operate overhead cranes (training provided). Nuclear quality-related experience is also desirable.

A competitive salary of £25,000-£35,000 per annum is offered, dependent on your skills and experience.
