Role Overview

GAIA RECRUITMENT LIMITED is seeking a skilled Healthcare Specialist to join our team. As a Functional Assessor, you will play a vital role in evaluating the impact of health conditions on individuals' daily lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the effects of health conditions on daily activities
• Develop and maintain strong observational and communication skills to effectively interact with claimants
• Produce detailed reports of assessment findings, including analysis and interpretation of clinical information
• Work collaboratively with the DWP to provide unbiased, comprehensive assessments

Requirements

• 1 year's post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic
• Fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, or other)
• Excellent observational and communication skills
• Ability to type at a minimum of 30 words per minute
• Demonstrable experience with using IT and Microsoft Office
