Bespoke Project Management Internship

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, a part of the renowned BMW Group, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join its Bespoke Project Management team at the Goodwood manufacturing plant in West Sussex, UK.

About the Role

As a Bespoke Project Management Intern, you will assist the project management team in planning, coordinating, and monitoring the progress of various Bespoke feature development initiatives. You will participate in project meetings, take detailed notes, and help maintain project documentation and status reports.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring the progress of Bespoke feature development initiatives.
  2. Participate in project meetings, take detailed notes, and help maintain project documentation and status reports.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
  4. Analyse existing processes and workflows within the Bespoke Product and Process department.
  5. Identify opportunities for streamlining and optimising these processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  6. Support the implementation process improvements, leveraging your analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
  7. Assist in the development and documentation of new processes or the refinement of existing ones.
  8. Cleansing and deep-dive analysis of datasets relevant to the Bespoke organisation and provide business-supporting reports to support the identification of trends and details which aid on our decision making.
  9. Explore innovative capabilities of data systems with the aim to introduce them into our organisation.
  10. Coordination and steering of Target Management Process and key performance indicators (KPI's).
  11. Structured problem solving, preferably with knowledge of the DMAIC approach.

Requirements

  1. Studying towards a 2:2 bachelor's degree - preferably in Project Management, Business Management, Engineering, IT, Data Science or other relevant field.
  2. Strong relationship building skills and ability to show good inter-personal skills, showing exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Good organisational and time management skills, and ability to show high attention to detail to every task.
  4. Ability to adapt working approach depending on specific requirements, prioritise activities, work under pressure, multi-task and solve problems.
  5. An excellent team player who possesses solid interpersonal and organisational skills.
  6. Experienced user of Microsoft Office and Outlook, knowledge of VBA, Power Bi and SAP is advantageous.
  7. Full driving license is advantageous.
