Job DescriptionIn this role as a Paramedic Functional Assessor, you will use your clinical expertise to assess individuals who are applying for Personal Independent Payment (PIP) benefits.
You will conduct thorough assessments, gathering information about the individual's disability or health condition and its impact on their daily life.
Your reports will be used by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to determine eligibility for benefits.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must have:
- a valid HCPC registration number
- at least one year of post-registration experience gained within or outside of an NHS ambulance trust
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- the ability to use computer software to type and produce detailed reports
This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a flexible environment, with full-time, part-time, and hybrid options available.
You will receive ongoing training and support, including a tailored training programme and regular feedback and supervision.
