Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Gardener/Driver to join our team at Enfield Council.

As a key member of our parks maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining Enfield's parks and open spaces to the high standards our visitors expect.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain parks and open spaces to a high standard
* Conduct physical tasks often conducted unsupervised or within a team
* Adapt to all weather conditions
* Handle horticultural machinery
* Have a solid grasp of Health & Safety
* Interact with the public on occasion
* Drive a transit tipper within the borough

Requirements:

* Previous experience in grounds maintenance (desirable)
* Minimum plant knowledge (desirable)
* Basic horticultural machinery knowledge (desirable)
* Driving licence allowing up to 3.5 tonne (transit tipper) - preferably with experience driving in a London Borough (essential)
* Ability to take and understand clear instructions (essential)
* Ability to work in all weather conditions (essential)
* Ability to complete physical tasks unsupervised (essential)
* Customer Care experience or dealing with the public (desirable)
* Ability to work within a team or as a lone worker (essential)
