Job Title: Portfolio Analyst/Financial Planner

We are a growing FinTech firm in London delivering institutional solutions to sophisticated private investors.

The company is hiring an analyst and associate level into their client-facing financial planning and investment solutions team.

About the Firm

This exciting FinTech has disrupted the Private Wealth space by utilising technology and data in innovative ways, offering a transparent and client-focused approach.

In recent years, they have grown their client and asset base and aim to continue expanding their team.

The ideal candidate will be well-rounded, combining strong technical skills with entrepreneurial drive and desire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in preparing periodic client portfolio reports, covering performance, exposures, and transactions in detail, and driving development of automated reporting systems.
  • Conducting financial planning analysis for client portfolios and suggesting investment actions that align with the client's objectives.
  • Producing analyses for multi-asset class client portfolios, covering key exposures including market betas, liquidity, currency, and geography.
Requirements:
  • Strong academic background
  • 1-5 years' experience in a role involving financial modelling
  • Exposure to Wealth Management, e.g. financial planning for private clients is advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills essential
  • Inquisitive character with a desire to learn and improve in relevant fields
  • Independent thinker
  • Understanding of portfolio construction and asset allocation
  • No ego
  • Applied knowledge of financial theories and investment solutions.
Salary:

£60,000 - £80,000 per annum dependent on experience
