Job Overview

LeMieux is a leading global equestrian company seeking a highly skilled Senior Apparel Designer to lead the design and development of our apparel categories. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for driving the creative vision of our brand, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of functionality, quality, and style.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement design concepts, technical specifications, and prototypes for assigned categories.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure alignment on product vision and goals.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and fostering a creative and productive environment.
  • Conduct market research and trend analysis to inform design direction and innovation.
  • Develop and present design concepts, technical specifications, and prototypes to the design team and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience in apparel design, with a focus on technical and performance wear.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing innovative designs and technical proficiency.
  • Excellent understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and performance technologies.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
