Role Overview

BMG UK Services - International is seeking a skilled Metadata Coordinator to join their Supply Chain team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the creation and management of metadata for BMG's UK catalogue releases.

Our Supply Chain team ensures that BMG recordings reach music fans worldwide both digitally and physically. They are responsible for metadata and asset management for approximately 600,000 recordings and work closely with our manufacturing and distribution partners. Without them, our recorded music releases would never be heard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the Catalogue A&R and Marketing teams to create and manage new release metadata in BMG's metadata system.
  • Ensure all metadata is compliant to the required standards.
  • Collect relevant PPI data for registration with collection societies.
  • Resolve data conflicts and inquiries from internal and external partners.
  • Maintain and distribute weekly reports to show forthcoming competitor releases and pricing.

Requirements

  • You have some previous experience within an administrative role.
  • You possess exceptional organisational abilities, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • You demonstrate keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • You enjoy challenging current practices, troubleshooting, and finding solutions.
  • You can balance the pressure to deliver releases on time with ensuring all contracts and accurate data are in place before delivery.
  • You exhibit excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • You are a team player with a positive, can-do attitude, collaborating effectively with others.
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office.
