Job Description

At Safran Helicopter Engines, we're seeking a skilled Gas Turbine Field Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll be responsible for carrying out level 1 to 3 maintenance activities on Safran HE engines and modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Decide on the intervention's feasibility by taking into account the reason for return, the engine documentation, and personal qualifications.
  • Define and ensure availability of all resources necessary for the maintenance intervention.
  • Identify the complete scope of the intervention to ensure the airworthiness of the engine or module.
  • Carry out the maintenance activities on the engine or module in accordance with the Safran HE maintenance documentation.
  • Carry out and certify all relevant recording, reporting, and release documentation associated with any work carried out.
  • Carry out secondary duties as defined by your manager.
  • Work in accordance with Company Operating Systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Work in accordance with HSE legislation, identifying and reporting any HSE risks to your manager or HSE representative.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and working practices, taking responsibility for implementing changes.
  • Represent Safran HE UK in delivering support regarding Safran HE products and services, supporting and promoting Company values and behaviors.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 5 years mechanical engineering experience post-apprenticeship
  • EASA 145 knowledge
  • Experience on Safran HE Engine families (Arriel, Arrius, Makila) maintenance level 1 to 4
