Position Overview

We invite you to join us as a Service Engineer within the National Response Team, where you will provide exceptional technical support directly to customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute repairs, on-site commissioning, maintenance, and calibration of customers' inspection machinery in accordance with established procedures, including delivering on-site training as required.
  • Conduct upgrades and refurbishments at client locations.
  • Address customer inquiries on-site with integrity and professionalism.
  • Adapt to diverse work environments and comply with client-specific health and safety regulations.
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately and promptly in accordance with company standards.
  • Be available for overtime work when necessary and participate in the on-call standby rotation.
  • Gain knowledge of a wide array of products and continuously improve your product expertise.
  • Provide technical assistance via phone and email as requested.

Required Qualifications

Essential:

  • Strong technical skills in Electrical/Electronics - Minimum HNC or equivalent in electromechanical/electrical engineering.
  • Previous experience in a field service capacity with an understanding of customer service practices including commissioning, repairs, and maintenance preferred.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming and knowledge of PC hardware is advantageous.
  • Proficient in PC operations.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with a systematic approach.
  • Valid UK driver's license.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends as required.
