Oncology Service Lead

Cinque Ports Vets seeks an experienced Oncology Service Lead - Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in oncology nursing and will be responsible for overseeing the oncology service, ensuring high-quality patient care, and collaborating with clinical staff to deliver excellent outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. They will work closely with the Head of Nursing Services and other lead nurses to develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans that meet the needs of our patients.
Responsibilities will include managing the oncology team, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines. The successful candidate will also contribute to the development of the nursing team, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
In return for your expertise, you will receive a competitive salary of £38,000-£42,000, depending on experience, plus benefits such as paid RCVS & VDS fees, enhanced annual leave, and access to ongoing professional development.
