Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Asset Inspector to join our team at LRQA. As an integral part of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the design, manufacture, and in-service aspects of engineering assets meet agreed codes, standards, specifications, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform technical inspections and assessments against defined specifications and scope, providing expert advice for service delivery within agreed parameters.
  • Produce high-quality reports, certificates, and documents to an agreed format and within agreed timescales.
  • Undertake and maintain agreed personal authorizations, following up training plans, performing activity monitoring, and pursuing continuous professional development.
  • Conduct all activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Hold appropriate trade/technical/vocational qualifications and certifications, including job-specific certifications such as ASME and PED.
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree from a recognized University (HNC/HND will be considered depending on level of experience).
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of relevant requirements, knowledge, and application, with a minimum of years' relevant working experience or equivalent knowledge.
  • Exhibit effective interpersonal skills and be competent in MS Office suite of software.
