Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Relief Security Officer to join our passionate and driven team based at several of our client's sites in the Reading area.
Roles include day, night and weekend shifts with a mixture of security work across several sites.
The Officer will provide access and egress control to site, monitor CCTV, manage visitors, and complete reports.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access to the premises.
- Ability to follow policies and procedures with strict access control arrangements.
- Monitor CCTV,
- Ability to liaise with the client and fill in incident reports.
- Conduct thorough security checks on individuals and vehicles entering and exiting the site.
- Ensure the safety and security of the premises during the assigned shifts.
- Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies.
- Officer to provide access and egress control to site
- Ensuring all visitors are signed in as per site security requirements.
- To ensure the delivery of consistently high standards of customer service.
- To promote and uphold the principles of security in accordance with the policies and directive.
- To manage access and egress to site
- To adhere to the company's dress code and wear correct uniform.
- To fulfil health and safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the company's health and safety policy and health and safety management plans.
- To comply with the company's policies, management plans and procedures.
About You:
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
- Hold a valid UK driving license due to travelling to locations
- Strong people and customer service skills
- Effective communication skills
- Must be able to carry out duties whilst lone working and as part of a team be confident filling in necessary paperwork.
- We want to see enthusiasm, a proactive attitude and your ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- You need to be well presented, punctual and focused on attention to detail.
- A Criminal Record Check, employment history and Right to Work check.
- SIA LICENSE Is a requirement.
- CCTV License is desirable
- Driving License is preferable
